Annual Canadian Native Seed Summit
Hosted by the Native Seed Producers of Canada. The Annual Canadian Native Seed Summit is a virtual, Canada-focused event designed to share practical, experience-based insights that make seed-based restoration projects more successful. The summit brings together experts across seed production and restoration to explore what’s working on the ground.
This session may be most relevant to restoration practitioners across Canada engaged in seed-based restoration projects, including consultants, land managers, native seed producers, conservation organizations, municipalities and First Nations, and others working in applied habitat restoration.
Are you working in native seed, ecological restoration, or a related field? We want to hear from you!
We are looking for more restoration practitioners and native seed producers from across Canada to share practical experience, lessons learned, and solutions for using native seed in restoration. We invite you to share what you’ve learned through real-world projects, initiatives, or applied research—from challenges and successes to innovative solutions.
We’re especially interested in presentations that offer practical insights and lessons that others in the sector can learn from and apply. This is not a venue for business or promotional presentations; we’re looking for your experiences, useful knowledge, and solutions that can help advance native seed use and restoration across Canada.
We look forward to hearing from practitioners, producers, researchers, and others working to grow and strengthen the native seed and restoration community across Canada! We are looking for presentations in French and English.
